In 2018 we met at a Timber Timbre show at the Moroccan Lounge Downtown and haven't broken eye contact since.
In 2020 we got our first apartment together and realized we were both desperate for a mermaid bathroom.
In 2022 we celebrated our 3rd viewing of Mad Men at The Biltmore Hotel (Joan & Roger's meeting place) with our 1st set of matching rings. Currently we have 3.
On New Year's Day 2024, Eric drove Kelsey to a secret beach on Kauai to watch the sunrise. She thought Eric's surprise was taking her to Todd Rundgren's house... but even better, he proposed!
In the near future we plan on moving a little closer to the beach. We hope to rescue a small dog with a peppy personality and when the feeling strikes, ghost everyone and retire to Zihuatanejo.
Thank you for celebrating US in Viva Las Vegas! We are meager gamblers and sparingly special-occasionally drink by tiki torch, but we do live for vamping around in our high roller attire by bright neon lights.
Our shared infatuation with marsupials, grass-fed beef, Tolkien, and risky waggish behavior pointed us directly towards Oceania! Here's a quick rundown of what we have planned:
PART I: After landing we're heading directly to... Aussie Ark Wildlife Sanctuary! We cannot wait to explore the sanctuary and cuddle joeys of all kinds. We'll also be visiting national parks, having breakfast with koalas, and celebrating New Year's with fireworks at the Sydney Harbour.
PART II: We head south to... the wilds of Tasmania! A week of road tripping all around the island to view Tasmanian devils in the wild, hike World Heritage areas, and get illuminated by the largest glow-worm cave in the country!
PART III: At last with weary feet we head to New Zealand to turn toward the lighted inn of the Green Dragon and the Shire at Hobbiton! We will be staying on property that was used during the filming of The Hobbit and enjoying some time for little trips around the north island, like a visit to the National Kiwi Hatchery!
